The nose is minerally with pears and key lime. In the mouth it is fresh with lemon sherbet, honey, a hint of saltiness with a round medium length finish. It has a certain touch of creaminess but it is anything but buttery.
Wine Making Note:
Once the grapes from the Chardonnay vines were harvested, they were pressed very gently. Then it was fermented in stainless steel tanks for ten to fifteen days at 16 to 18°C. Some lees were present in the tanks, but there was little battonage type work stirring the lees in this wine.
